2. No Joy So Great (3:44)

The longing to keep someone who is precious to you – to keep them close forever: this piece embraces the great joy of love, alongside the deep sorrow of loss. © Tim Finnis, 1998.

3. Moon in Blue Sky (3:23)

An uplifting and capturing melody, inspired by the magical sight of the moon on a sunny morning. © Tim Finnis, 1999.

4. Song in E (‘After the Storm’) (3:25)

In this piece, you are invited to join a journey of discovery, through light and dark. At the ending of a storm, the rain passes and you begin to discover the amazing beauty of the world. Dedicated to Christian and Magda. © Tim Finnis, 2016.

5. Still Moment (1:27)

Simply a moment that captures a sense of peace and calm in an ordinary, but busy, day. © Tim Finnis, 2016.

6. It Comes Like Rain (4:12)

It makes me glad, it makes me wonder, it makes me sad, it makes me cry; it comes like rain, it comes like thunder, it comes and still … I wonder why. © Tim Finnis, 2010.

7. Harvest Song (2:43)

The beauty of the sunlight and all that it produces - including everything that grows and all living creatures: in this piece, we glimpse how our sunlight’s amazing power and provision is countered by a cry of hunger. © Tim Finnis, 2006.

8. To Your Love (2:40) This tune sings like a folk song, full of devotion and rising joy. It was written in a moment of inspiration – without any words – and it spoke a meaning of its own. © Tim Finnis, 2016.

9. Song in C (3:30)

This song without words expresses a sense of searching and longing for more. The key change in the middle section signifies the discovery of something new. Revelling in this for a while, the song then returns to its main theme of searching and moving forwards. © Tim Finnis, 1995.

10. Moonlit Lullaby (2:21)

The wondrous light of the moon transports us to a world of dreams and possibilities. While we sleep, this world is realised and allows our hopes to rise to the surface. © Tim Finnis, 2007.

11. You Get The Things You Give (3:40) This piece was originally written in reflection to how ‘Scrooge’ – the famous character created by Charles Dickens - was given a new perspective on his life. © Tim Finnis, 1999.

12. Welcome! (2:28) The final track of the album hopes to give you a sense that there is still a great deal more to come! It is a song of energy and celebration, originally written for a small community, where there was a wonderful sense of fun and family. It is hoped that you will find this too and tap along. © Tim Finnis, 2006.

Recently, Tim has had the privilege to play on the beautiful Steinway piano at Air-Edel Studios, London. There, he has recorded an album of his favourite piano compositions.
